Your tasks as a board you can drag
Kanban view lays your active missions, duties, and reminders out as columns you can move cards between. Useful when you think in flow — what's not started, what's in progress, what's waiting on someone else, what's done — instead of in a single list. Same data as the list view; just a different shape.
Kanban view lays your active missions, duties, and reminders out as columns you can drag cards between, so you can see what's not started, what's in progress, what's waiting on someone, and what's done. It's the same data as the list and calendar views — just a different shape — and it suits people who think in flow rather than in a single list. By default the columns are Not started, In progress, Waiting, and Done, derived from each card's status.
You switch views from the toggle at the top of the home tab, and the choice is remembered per device. Each Cell member picks their own view; nobody is forced into a layout that doesn't suit them.
How to switch

Columns
By default the columns are Not started, In progress, Waiting, and Done. The columns are derived from each card's status — the BE owns the status field, the columns are just the shape it's painted in. Cards move between columns by drag-and-drop on tablet and desktop or long-press-and-pick on phone.
What appears on each card
Title, the cell member it's assigned to, the DNA reward if any, and the due-by chip when one is set. Mission cards show the mission category icon for a fast visual scan. Long-press a card to surface the full detail without leaving the board.
Filtering
Filter by assignee, by category, or by due window. Filters are local to your device and don't change what other cell members see. The active filter stays visible at the top of the board so you don't forget you're looking at a slice.
When kanban makes sense
Households juggling a lot of in-flight things — a school project, a renovation, a co-op carpool rotation — usually find kanban easier to scan than a flat list. Streak-based single-stream households often prefer list because the rhythm IS the list. Both views read the same data, so try each and keep what fits.
