The shared cell calendar

ConKarma's calendar is scoped to your Cell. Events are visible only to people inside the Cell — there's no public surface, no cross-Cell discovery. The same data shows up on phone, web, and (read-only) on the wrist.

ConKarma's shared calendar is scoped to your Cell: events are visible only to people inside the Cell, with no public surface and no cross-Cell discovery. The same data appears on phone and web, and read-only on the wrist. You switch between month, week, and day views from the segmented control at the top, and create events with the + button — title, start, end, optional location and description, plus recurrence (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and per-event opt-in RSVP.

Calendar data is cell-scoped, encrypted at rest, and never shared with third parties. The iCal export gives you a revocable, read-only signed URL covering only the events you can already see, so there's no shadow-data leak.

Views and navigation

Switch between month, week, and day from the segmented control at the top. The 'today' shortcut is the dot in the centre. Swipe left or right (or arrow keys on web) to step through periods. The week starts on whatever day your device locale uses.

Creating an event

Tap the + button. Title, start, end, optional location, optional description. Recurrence supports daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly with a count or until-date. Reminders fire as push (or in-app, if you've muted push for the calendar category). RSVP is opt-in per event — toggle it off for things like 'school holiday' that don't need attendance tracking.

RSVP and attendance

When RSVP is on, every Cell member can mark Going / Maybe / Not Going. The creator (and any Parent role) can see the totals and the per-person status. Children see their own status only — never each other's. RSVP changes are silent — no spammy notifications when someone updates.

Conflict detection

When you add an event that overlaps an existing one for any RSVP'd attendee, you'll see a warning before save. The warning is informational — it doesn't block the save. Useful for spotting double-booking before it becomes 'nobody picked up the kid'.

iCal export

Settings → Calendar → Export gives you a signed URL you can subscribe to from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any iCal-compatible client. The URL is read-only and includes a token that you can revoke any time (revoking issues a new URL — the old one stops resolving). Cell-scoped: only events visible to you are in the feed.

Privacy

Calendar data is cell-scoped, encrypted at rest, and never shared with third parties. The iCal export carries only the subset of events you can already see inside the app — there's no shadow-data leak. Subscribe URLs use TLS; if you suspect a URL leaked, regenerate from Settings.
