For couples

Shared rituals, gently kept.

Two people, one private operating layer. ConKarma helps couples build small daily rituals together — habits you maintain side by side, intentions you check on, journals you can choose to share or keep to yourself. The same space grows with you, through the early years, into the household you build, and beyond. Without the parts of relationship apps that feel like therapy homework, and without the social-feed mess.

ConKarma gives a couple one private operating layer for the small daily rituals you keep together — habits you maintain side by side, mood check-ins that take a single tap, and journals you can choose to share or keep to yourself. Your Cell is private by default: no public profiles, no friends-list, no follower count, and no leaderboard grading your relationship. Shared habits and solo space both live here, and either of you can change what's visible on a per-category basis anytime.

The same space grows with you, on phone, watch, and web. For adults who both opt in, the after-dark Ember zone unlocks behind biometrics with consent tooling — a shared limits doc, safewords, and aftercare check-ins. ConKarma ships editorial content and structured forms, not an AI couple-therapist; the words you say to each other stay yours.

01

Just the two of you

Your Cell is private by default — no public profiles, no friends-list, no follower count. What you share with each other stays between the two of you. The intimate surfaces (annals, fantasies, intimate prompts) are gated behind verified-adult age tier and additional explicit consent on each side.

02

Daily check-ins that aren't performative

Mood check-ins are a single tap. Quick journal prompts are short. Streaks are gentle, with freezes for the rough weeks. We don't grade your relationship, and there's no leaderboard.

03

Shared rituals + solo space

Some habits are joint (Sunday walk, weekly date check-in, shared savings goal). Some are private (your own running streak, your own journal). The app keeps both. You can choose what's visible and what isn't, on a per-category basis, and either of you can change it anytime.

04

Surfaces that fit your day

Phone for the long check-in, watch for a quick acknowledgement, web for an end-of-week look back. Apple Watch and Wear OS surfaces share the same dashboard, and long-press notifications act in place — a quick "saw you, thanks" without unlocking the phone.

05

Ember — the adult zone, opt-in and locked

When you both opt in (both have to be 18+ verified, both consent in cell settings), Ember unlocks. Spice Calendar, dare/desire/fantasy prompts, time capsules. Locked behind biometrics on every entry — Face ID, Touch ID, or the Android equivalent. Screenshots blocked at OS level. Web companion deliberately does not implement Ember; mobile only.

06

Affection counters — noticing the small moments

A quiet counter inside the cell — kisses, hand-holds, mid-day texts, whatever you decide counts. Opt-in. Private or mutual (you choose). No streaks, no targets, no leaderboard. The point is noticing the small moments, not optimising them. Premium unlocks custom counter types + Drift Report integration; see /pricing/sparks for the AI-feature pricing posture.

07

Safewords + boundaries you can actually use

Safeword tooling that's explicit, durable, and accessible during the moment, not buried five menus deep. Boundary list shared between the two of you that gets versioned — you both see the current state, you both see when the other person changed it. Designed to be the substrate for real conversations, not a replacement for them.

08

A quarterly drift report, just for you two

Optional add-on (per-couple Ember + drift sub on /pricing). Once a quarter, a short longitudinal read on the relationship's engagement patterns — DNA flow, journal sentiment, ritual cadence. Patterns only, never raw text. Nobody else in any cell sees it. When the patterns warrant it, the report points toward considering a clinician — but the suggestion is yours to interpret.

09

Affiliate education + therapy when you want it

A small, curated affiliate education library — couples-coach essays, podcast picks, course recommendations from people we've vetted. Plus a one-shot therapist export (a sealed PDF for a clinician) when you want a professional read of what's happening over the last 90, 180, or 365 days. Pay per export; no subscription needed for either.

10

Hard moments — a structured repair flow

When something between you needs repair, the couple flow walks both partners through it without scripting the words. Pick a template (I want to acknowledge / I need to hear / I'd like to try again), the message lands framed alongside the template you chose, optional 24-hour cool-down before the second adult sees it. Curated content + structured forms, no AI in the middle — the long version of why is on /blog/why-conflict-tools-are-not-ai-mediated.

11

Truth or Dare — Serene + Ember modes

The same prompt-driven game shape in two flavours. Serene runs in the family zone with family-safe categories. Ember runs only after both adults have opted into the adult zone — biometric gate, never visible to non-Ember accounts in the cell, tunable category filters so the prompt set matches the couple's shared limits doc. Stable across sessions, curated strings, nothing AI-generated. /security/zone-isolation has the zone guarantees.

12

Consent infrastructure — Ember

Limits doc, safeword, aftercare check-ins — the three pillars of adult consent infrastructure, on Ember E2E primitives. Couple-private under a separate keypair; never reaches our AI pipeline; safeword activations write a log only the device pair can read. Pillared write-up at /blog/ember-consent-infrastructure.

13

Personal Journal + Wishbook — quiet personal corners

A private notebook that lives outside the shared annal — yours alone unless you cell-share an entry. And a small curated Wishbook per adult for the times the other one wants to surprise you without asking. Personal corners that don't bleed into the relational layer unless you choose.

14

Daily Question — the small daily conversation, scaffolded

A short curated question lands in your couple cell each day. Each partner writes privately on-device; answers reveal at 7pm cell-local (or whenever you pick). Editorial content — never AI-generated, never personalised by a model. The single feature people use most consistently after the first month in our testing. See /features/daily-question + /blog/why-every-family-app-needs-a-daily-question.

15

Days-together widget — a small persistent counter

iOS Lock Screen + Android Glance + Apple Watch / Wear OS complication counting days since the date that matters to you. Couple-private, never social. Optional round-number anniversary reminders (100, 365, 1000 days) per partner. See /features/days-together-widget.

16

Card decks — Gottman-style relationship cards

Curated library of card decks (Love Maps, Date Night, Hard Conversations, Repair) for the couple cell. Editorial content reviewed by clinicians where the topic warrants it; never AI-generated; never personalised by a model. Draw a card together; answer privately or reveal depending on the deck. See /features/card-decks.

17

Role-play scenarios — curated, Ember-gated

Growing library of role-play scenarios for Ember-enabled couples. Editorial content, biometric-gated, limits-doc cross-check at the consent step (a scenario that conflicts with either partner's limits flags before you start). Server-side we see counts (capacity planning) but never scenario engagement detail.

18

Double-blind consent matching — anti-pressure by construction

When two partners explore which fantasy categories overlap, the matching runs entirely on-device with two structural invariants we will not break: never-reveal-no (a no by either partner returns no signal to either) and zero-egress AI (no model in the inference path).; see /help/double-blind-consent-matching.

19

Anti-AI-coaching stance

ConKarma is not Lasting and not Paired. We don't ship an AI couple-therapist; we ship editorial content + structured forms + privacy-preserving primitives. The decisions about what to say to each other are yours; the surface stays out of the way until you ask it for something specific.
