The primary surface. Native iOS via the App Store and native Android via Google Play. Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, biometric unlock, full feature parity. This is where the family lives day-to-day.

Web — web.conkarma.app
A Serene-only PWA at web.conkarma.app for the moments a browser is the right surface — checking a streak from a work computer, reading a journal entry from a friend's laptop. It also runs as a full-screen kiosk Wall: point a spare tablet or monitor at web.conkarma.app in kiosk mode for an always-on cell board in the kitchen or hallway. The adult zone is deliberately excluded from the web variant because biometric + screenshot protection don't survive the browser threat model.

3-row glance — streak, today's quest, DNA balance — on Apple Watch complications and Wear OS Tiles. Mark a mission done without unlocking the phone. No separate watch auth; the phone's session is the source of truth.

Calendar brief, daily question, mark-it-done, streak status, Family Reveal Sunday playback — driver-safe voice on iOS CarPlay and Android Auto. Minimal-glance UI, voice-first; the in-car path never demands typed input.

Linked-account voice intents on Amazon Echo, Google Nest, and Samsung SmartThings devices. Same intent set as the in-car surfaces. The platform vendor transcribes audio on-device; ConKarma receives intent metadata via a per-platform webhook and never sees raw audio.

Windows — Microsoft Store
Native Windows 10 / 11 desktop app, distributed through the Microsoft Store and signed as MSIX. Same data model as the mobile app, optimized for the larger screen — calendar week view, expanded journals, side-by-side check-ins, full keyboard navigation. Sign in with Microsoft is available alongside Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google.

Windows — After Dark (18+)
Separate Microsoft Store listing for the After Dark companion app — distinct from the main ConKarma Windows app. Adults Only / 18+ IARC rating; Windows Hello biometric gate on launch; same MSIX signing and sandboxing as the main app. Same cell + account on the ConKarma side via the agewall; the listing carries no explicit imagery, only the tasteful UI per Microsoft Store §10.1.

Big-screen Wall — Apple TV, Android / Google / Fire TV, kiosk
A live cell Wall board on the big screen: today's streaks and quests, the cell calendar, the Family Reveal Sunday recap, and cell photos. Runs on Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV, and Fire TV, plus a full-screen PWA kiosk mode for any spare tablet or monitor and an ambient screensaver when idle. Read-only by design — the big screen is an ambient display for the whole cell, not a remote-control surface.
One account, all surfaces
Cross-device sync
Every surface shares one account, gated by biometric on the devices that support it. Updates propagate sub-second across paired devices via the DataLayer (Wear OS) and WatchConnectivity (watchOS) bridges, with a passive 15-minute fallback so a wrist or TV surface is never more than 15 minutes stale even if a faster path is unavailable. External calendar sync — Apple, Google, and Outlook — is opt-in per cell member; the Google Calendar deep-dive lives at /help/google-calendar-sync.
Privacy posture per platform
Same rules on every surface
No cross-app tracking, no behavioural ad networks, no third-party trackers — on any surface, on any platform. Children are blocked at the API from the adult zone regardless of which surface they're on. Voice surfaces transcribe on-device through the platform vendor; ConKarma never receives raw audio. The full trust posture lives in one place.

Platform surfaces under active build but not shipped yet:
- Phone-app voice surfaces via Siri App Intents and Google Assistant App Actions (, currently in development).
- Android Auto driver-distraction certification once the in-car intent set lands final review.
- Wear OS quick-actions for older Tizen Galaxy Watch models — deferred because the Tizen app model is divergent enough that it would split the codebase.
- Linux desktop variant — tracked as research, not committed (Microsoft Store covers the Windows shipment as of June 2026).
Common questions
- Does ConKarma work on the web?
- Yes — web.conkarma.app is a Serene-only PWA. The adult zone (Ember) is deliberately excluded from web because the browser threat model doesn't carry the biometric + screenshot protections the adult zone requires.
- Can I use the watch without the phone nearby?
- The watch surface needs the phone's session — there's no separate auth on the watch. With the phone out of range, the watch falls back to the last cached glance, which is at most 15 minutes stale; mark-done taps queue and sync when the phone reconnects.
- Which voice assistants work?
- Today: Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings on the smart-home side; CarPlay (Siri) and Android Auto (Google Assistant) in the car. Phone-side Siri App Intents and Google Assistant App Actions are coming soon — the in-car and smart-home paths shipped first because they cover the largest hands-free family use case.
- Does ConKarma see what I say to my voice assistant?
- No raw audio. On every voice surface — CarPlay, Android Auto, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings — the platform vendor transcribes on-device or in their own cloud, and ConKarma receives only the structured intent metadata. The Privacy Policy §6 carries the per-vendor disclosure.
- Which TVs and big screens does the Wall run on?
- Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV, and Fire TV all run the cell Wall board, and any browser can run it as a full-screen PWA kiosk on a spare tablet or monitor — with an ambient screensaver when idle. Every big-screen surface is read-only by design: the Wall is an ambient display for the whole cell, not a remote-control surface.
