Using ConKarma with Siri
ConKarma exposes a small set of voice intents to Apple Siri so you can add a grocery item, check the day's calendar, capture a journal entry, or answer the daily question without unlocking the phone. Useful in the car (CarPlay) or with a HomePod nearby. Phase 1: English only, voice intents only — no full "ConKarma for CarPlay" app surface.
ConKarma exposes a small set of voice intents to Apple Siri so you can add a grocery item, check the day's calendar, capture a journal entry, or answer the daily question without unlocking your phone, which is handy in the car with CarPlay or near a HomePod. Phase 1 is English only and voice intents only, with no full CarPlay app surface. You enable it once under iOS Settings then Siri & Search then ConKarma, and accept a permission prompt the first time you use each intent.
Apple captures and transcribes the voice audio; only the resulting text reaches ConKarma, so we never receive the raw audio. Once text arrives it follows the same posture as anything you type: cell-private, encrypted at rest, and never read by an AI on our side.
One-time setup
iOS device → Settings → Siri & Search → ConKarma. Enable Siri access. Enable "Use with CarPlay" if you want the intents available in the car. On first invocation each intent surfaces a permission prompt — accept once per intent.

Privacy posture
Voice audio is captured by Apple Siri, transcribed by Apple's on-device or server transcription depending on your iOS settings, and the resulting text is sent to ConKarma. We never receive the raw audio. Apple's privacy posture for Siri is documented at apple.com/privacy. Once the text reaches ConKarma, it follows the same posture as anything you type in the app — cell-private, encrypted at rest, never read by an AI on our side.
Disabling
Settings → Siri & Search → ConKarma → toggle off. Or revoke specific intents from Settings → Privacy & Security → Speech Recognition (if you previously granted the broader permission). No data the intent already captured is removed when you disable; use the existing data-export or delete-account flows for that.
Driver-distraction note
These voice intents are designed for hands-free, eyes-up use. ConKarma is not a substitute for paying attention to the road. Don't use the voice intents in conditions where you wouldn't use any other voice assistant. See /legal/terms for the full disclaimer language.
