Every quarter, ConKarma publishes a transparency report covering what we did, what we didn't, and what we got asked to do. This article explains the cadence, the categories, and the review gate.
ConKarma publishes a transparency report every quarter covering what we did, what we didn't, and what we got asked to do. Reports publish in the first month after each quarter closes, with final numbers once an internal two-eye review completes. Each report covers government and law-enforcement requests, takedown notices, COPPA actions, notification-budget compliance, AI usage by feature, sub-processor changes, promise-enforcement spot checks, and cell-data invariant enforcement.
Every figure is cohort-aggregated, never per-user or per-cell, with range buckets where a sealed legal process applies. Each report passes a two-eye approval gate before publication, recorded in the page footer. The most recent report is linked from /transparency and /promises; past reports stay published.
Cadence
Reports publish in the first month after each quarter closes. The Q2 2026 report (covering April through June 2026) is published and final. Subsequent quarters follow the same schedule.
What each report covers
Government and law-enforcement requests; takedown notices (DMCA, TAKE IT DOWN Act); COPPA actions; notification-budget compliance; AI usage by feature; sub-processor changes; promise-enforcement spot checks; cell-data invariant enforcement. We always publish methodology limitations alongside the numbers.
Cohort-aggregated only
Every number in the report is cohort-aggregated. We never publish per-user or per-cell figures, even anonymised. Where a category sits under a sealed legal process, we publish a range bucket rather than an exact integer.
Two-eye approval gate
Each report is reviewed by two people before publication, with the approval recorded in the page footer. The review checks for accuracy, methodology consistency with the prior quarter, and any redaction the legal review flags. If something is wrong, we publish the correction in the next quarter's report and link back.

The most recent report is linked from /transparency and from /promises. Past reports stay published — they don't disappear after the new quarter's report lands. The /annual-audit/<year> surface is the yearly third-party verification that the quarterly self-reports were accurate.
