Your Base — your personal home in ConKarma
Your Base is your personal widget board — the personal-assistant home on your own phone, lock screen, and watch that's just yours. It's the counterpart to the Wall, which is your cell's shared household hub. This article explains the difference and where each one lives.
Your Base is your personal widget board in ConKarma — the personal-assistant home on your own phone, lock screen, and watch that's just yours. It is the per-person counterpart to the Wall, which is the cell's shared household hub (including the big-screen family-room display). Base is personal and only you control it; the Wall is shared by the whole household.
Your Base is per-zone (the everyday Serene Base and the adult Ember Base are independent), persona-aware on first run, and fully rearrangeable — every widget is removable or repositionable, no cell-mate can change your Base, and one safety/escalation strip stays permanently visible.
Base vs Wall — the short version
Base is personal; the Wall is shared. Your Base is the per-person widget board on your own devices — you decide what's on it, and no cell-mate can change it. The Wall is the cell's shared hub, including the big-screen family-room display on TV or a kiosk screen. If it's on your own home/lock/watch screen, it's your Base; if it's the screen the whole household looks at, it's the Wall.
Where your Base lives
Your Base appears on your phone home screen, your lock screen, and your watch face as widgets. It's per-zone — the everyday (Serene) Base and the adult-zone (Ember) Base are independent, and main-app sessions never see Ember widgets. On first run it reflects the persona you picked in onboarding, as a starting point you can fully rearrange.
You're in control
Every widget on your Base is removable, replaceable, or repositionable from Settings. There are no customization metrics, no suggestion notifications, and no cell-mate can force-set another adult's Base. One safety/escalation strip — Worry Box, trusted-adult routing, helpline links — can't be hidden, even by you; that's structural, not a setting.

What's the difference between my Base and the Wall?

Did the 'Wall' get renamed?
The per-user board that used to be called your Wall is now your Base. 'Wall' now refers specifically to the cell's shared household hub. Your personal surface is the Base; the shared surface is the Wall.
Can anyone else change my Base?
No. Your Base is yours — no cell-mate can force-set another adult's Base, and there are no push notifications nudging you to change it. Discovery is pull-only, when you go look.
