ConKarma does not currently have any active affiliate partnerships. No link in the app or on this website earns us a commission today.
This page explains how affiliate recommendations would work — and exactly what we would disclose — if and when ConKarma joins an affiliate program in the categories below. We publish it now, before any program exists, so our posture is clear up front. When a real partnership is signed we will name the partner here first, and only then.
What would earn a commission
The categories below are the only ones where ConKarma would participate in an affiliate program. Plain in-app navigation, in-Cell content, sub-purchase links to the App Store / Google Play / Microsoft Store do not earn us commissions — and would not, even after any affiliate program launches.
Vetted retail partners (18+ surfaces only)
If and when ConKarma partners with retailers we've reviewed against our trust posture, discreet recommendations would appear only inside the Adult tier and only when the recipient has completed 18+ verification.
No retail affiliate partners are active at this time.
Educational content partners
If and when ConKarma partners with intimacy- and relationship-education platforms, referrals could appear in adult-tier surfaces as well as in the broader Couples surface when the topic is contextually relevant. Any such partner would run its own age gate and payment flow — ConKarma would never see your card details.

Editorial independence
These are the rules any future affiliate program would operate under.
Affiliate revenue does not influence which partners appear in recommendations, the order they appear in, or whether a recommendation fires at all. The matching logic is the same logic that selects any non-affiliate suggestion in the app: contextual relevance, age tier, prior interactions, and explicit user preferences. A partner cannot pay for placement, and a higher commission rate would not promote a partner above a lower-commission one.
If a partner stopped meeting our review bar — quality, trust, accessible returns, no dark-pattern checkout — we would drop them from rotation regardless of the commission they pay.
How recommendations would be surfaced
- Any affiliate recommendation in-app would carry a small "affiliate" chip on the link, so disclosure appears at the point of decision rather than only here.
- Recommendations are off by default for child and teen accounts on every category, and for adult accounts in any category that requires 18+ verification until that verification has been completed.
- Recommendations can be turned off entirely at Settings → Privacy → Recommendations. Turning them off has no effect on subscription features or the rest of the app.
What ConKarma earns, and what we do with it
We earn no affiliate revenue today, because no affiliate program is active. If a program launches, affiliate revenue would help fund the engineering and content work behind the free-forever core surfaces — the same surfaces that have no recommendations at all. It would not subsidise reduced privacy or change the data-sharing practices documented in the Privacy Policy.

We update this page when the program changes — including the first time a real partner is added. Material changes are also called out in the in-app changelog. To get notice by email, write to legal@conkarma.app.
